MEET CHRIS

My name is Chris Wong, and I am a CANFITPRO Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Metabolic Trainer, Martial Arts Instructor, and owner/head coach of Chris Wong Fitness. I am also an independent contractor for Inhometrainer, the premier in-home personal training company in Canada.


My territory is the west end of the GTA (Greater Toronto, Ontario Area), including Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington, and surrounding areas. I believe fitness should be accessible to everybody, and cost or location should never be an issue. That is why I am also providing Hybrid Online Training and Online Personal Training services for those with a hectic schedule or living further away from my area.


I have been actively involved in health and fitness since 1991. This has included METABOLIC TRAINING AND HIIT, MARTIAL ARTS, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, and a number of alternative training methods.

MEET BRITTNEY

Brittney Hopley is a Canfitpro Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist (Level 1). From a young age, she had always known health and fitness would be her passion.


After competing at the national level in both track and field and volleyball, she has acquired immense knowledge that she is excited to share with you. Not only will her expertise complement your abilities in achieving your health and fitness goals, but her work ethic and dedication will transform your fitness routine into an everyday healthy lifestyle.


As a goal-oriented individual, she can get you where you want to be. Working out is more than a hobby. It’s a lifestyle choice.

MEET KONRAD

Konrad has been training martial arts since he was 2 years old before he could speak! He's been involved in fitness for over 20 years, instructing, coaching, and competing for over a decade.


He knows what it takes to push your limits and excel mentally and physically to reach your goals. Over the years, he's combined conditioning and kickboxing to give you a killer workout. In addition, he's familiar with working with injuries or limitations. Maintenance is a crucial element for the longevity of your training.


His philosophy is to keep a good flow and rhythm within the workout and overall routine so you can break plateaus, reach new goals, and continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.

MY STORY

When I first started, I was anything but the picture of health. I was very overweight, but I told myself it was muscle! I frequently ate fast food and drank pop and beer. I decided to do something about it. I immersed myself in the lifestyle and have never looked back.


However, I had many ups and downs. It took me years before I made a decision to overhaul my workouts completely.


​I learned about the value of Metabolic Training, HIIT, and other disciplines, which completely transformed my body. The best part of it is that it can be done with minimal or even NO equipment at any time and anywhere you prefer.


It was at this time that I also began my journey into the Chinese Internal Martial Arts, which not only has tremendous health benefits but has helped with stress management and relaxation at times when I really needed it.


It also taught me the importance of balance, and I realized that depriving yourself of the things you love is unnecessary. You just have to be sensible and balanced about it.

In 1995, I began my career as a certified fitness professional and have been helping clients get in shape ever since. My mission is to cut through all the confusion, fad diets, and other things that will get in the way of YOU getting in your best shape ever and having fun doing it!


​Fitness, in my way of thinking, is all about knowing and learning about yourself. YOU are the one doing the work, and YOU are the one reaping the benefits.


Getting results is not necessarily about learning but rather unlearning a lifetime of conditioning and letting out that inner self. With proper guidance, over time when you exercise you will feel yourself become a different person.


Your health will improve, your patience and stress levels will improve, little things that used to bother you will seem silly, and more positive changes will happen. What’s really happening is you are REDISCOVERING YOURSELF.

I consider myself a physical culturist. It was a popular term from the late 19th and early 20th century that encompasses all physical activities that will “cultivate” the body. In addition, physical culturists of old were not fanatics about diet and over-supplementation. It was intended to be a lifelong pursuit. It's not something you do for a few months: drive yourself insane with food deprivation, only to snap and go back to your old ways.


I’ve been involved in health and fitness for the past 25 years. I’ve seen lots of people come and go, but I’m still here. The reason is that I’ve learned how to make physical culture work for me. I’m not a slave to it.


The key is to be well-rounded in all areas of your life. The concept of physical culture is not just about the physical but the psychological, social, and spiritual as well. In the martial art of Ving Tsun, the concept of the centerline is the most important idea of the entire system.


This is the philosophy I will help you understand and master once you become a client of mine. Applying a balance of physical activity, nurturing nutrition, and mindset practices will help and empower you to become the best possible version of yourself.
