WHAT IS VIRTUAL TRAINING?

It's a fairly new concept, but works amazingly well! Basically it's the exact same thing as In-Person Training except it's done online over Zoom, Facebook Messenger, or Skype (whatever your preference is). I can see you, you can see me, I can watch and critique your form, I can shout words of encouragement to get you through, you can ask me questions on the spot (unlike having to wait for me to reply to a text or email), etc. Really the only limitation is that we can't touch each other and I really don't think that's too important. 

 

And just like my In-Person clients, you'll get individualized workouts based on your full assessment that I'll do with you as well as your individual personality and goals. I may be the professional trainer here, but I'll only work alongside you and what you need and want. I'm not a dictator who tells you it's my way or the highway. Above all, we always like to make sure to have fun. There's no point doing the workouts if it's just drudgery and monotony. Of course we do need to repeat exercises. How else can you expect to get good at them and see progress? But we'll do it in a fun way and always end the workouts with a smile!

Those were the words of my old Chinese Kung Fu instructor the first day I walked into class. I’ll never forget it. People have a habit of always looking for the most complicated solution to a problem. But it’s usually the simple one that’s the answer. Unfortunately, we live in a time of information overload! And what happens ultimately is Analysis Paralysis. This means that when you’re being bombarded with so much information, it’s all just too overwhelming and you ultimately end up doing nothing! This unfortunately happens all too often, particularly with fitness and health.

Working closely together, you’ll have your diet and training program custom made specifically for you.

Each workout is YOUR workout. Every time you step into the gym (even if that gym is your living room or basement), you will be shown exactly what to do and exactly how to do it. Each meal is YOUR meal. Ever have that moment of panic where you don’t know what to eat? You know you should be eating something healthy, but you’re not sure exactly how to make that happen at each meal. No longer. Instead of just handing you a meal plan to follow, I will educate you on Rules and Guidelines on how to make proper (and realistic) food choices essentially empowering you to create your OWN meal plans. I will also explain how to deal with emergency situations. Yes, you CAN go on a cruise ship without gaining 10 lbs! ​

You still get to live YOUR life. I’ve said it my book, blog posts, Facebook posts, and videos. There is no point in having the body of your dreams if you have to shy away from parties, dates, vacations, or other social events. Trust me, I know all about this. I am after all, a family man and am well aware of the difficulties of staying on track while balancing kids, work, and all the other stuff that comes with a family. I will teach you the tools you need to live a balanced life. I want you to be able to live the life you want and you won’t have to feel like you’re missing anything.
