For those of you who don't know what HIIT means. It stands for "High Intensity Interval Training". It can be done either by counting reps or by time. I often use a combination of the two. We use big body movements combined with short rest periods. This gets a lot of work done in a short period of time. It's a tough workout that brings solid results. I've got a workout here that my amazing client Nicole did this morning. Here it is:
It's done in a circuit manner where you move from one exercise to the next with minimal rest in between. The whole circuit is done three times.
Lateral Step Ups on a Plyo Box or Step 40 reps (20 per side)
Pushups (any way you can) 20 reps
Pulsing Squats (2 half reps and then a jump squat) 10 reps
Bear Crawl 45 seconds
Side To Side Shuffles 45 seconds
Plank To Pushup (Up Downs) 20 (10 per side)
